The Korematsu Institute is proud to bring “Am I an American or Am I Not?” The exhibition's title is inspired by Fred Korematsu, a U.S.-born citizen who courageously challenged the government's wartime orders that led to the forced relocation and imprisonment of Japanese Americans.


Step into a gripping visual chronicle of humanity’s resilience during the longest siege in modern history. Through the lens of award-winning photojournalist Rikard Larma, witness everyday acts of survival amidst chaos. On view at the International Peace Museum from May 1 through August 1, 2025.
