The Museum offers scheduled tours for school or youth groups, clubs, or organizations interested in having a museum guide lead their group. A group is considered to be at least 10 people. Please see below for additional information.
Schedule a Tour
School or youth groups are $5 per person. Chaperones and teachers are free. Minimum of 10 paying people.
Adult groups are $8 per person with one free spot for the tour organizer. Minimum of 10 people altogether.
Group tours can be secured with a check or credit card payment information. Payment will not be made until the day of the tour when final tour size is known.
A full refund will be made if a group needs to cancel or reschedule their tour if we're notified within 24 hours of the event. Late cancellations are subject to a $20 fee.
Group Tours Create a Richer Experience
All of the museum exhibits are generally self-guided with volunteers available to answer your questions about the collection. Scheduling a Group Tour will provide a deeper dive into museum exhibits, including our guest exhibits. Group tours are a perfect complement to book clubs, civic organizations, travel groups, and for religious organizations.
We Take the Lead for Classroom Teachers and Youth Leaders
We can connect the dots with history, civics, art, and the subjects of nonviolence, compassion, and peace literacy for students. Tours can be adjusted to the age and interests of the group. Our Director of Education works with youth group leaders or teachers ahead of time to discuss the goals of the field trip and making curriculum connections.
