Over the years, the Peace Museum has sponsored many specialized clubs for children, teens, and adults. We had book clubs, women’s groups, discussion groups on current events, political science, interfaith dialogues, parent’s activities, a teen club, a cycling team, yoga, African drumming, and so on. As the pandemic eases, and the Museum opens again after 26 months of the virus plus a massive project of moving and rebuilding on Courthouse Square, we will begin new programs slowly beginning this summer. Most will be free or low-cost.
Groups and Clubs
As the pandemic eases, more groups will return live. Check the events calendar for exact days and times.
Museum Groups and Clubs
Yoga & Meditation
Weekly “Zensday” events start just as rush hour everywhere else begins.
Museum Book Club
Meets monthly and is a “no pressure’ book club designed for busy people. The first month is half the book, followed by the remainder the next month. The book club for people who have not even ready the book but want to learn more from those who did!
Great Discussions Club
Regularly-scheduled discussion program includes a book, materials, and videos of topics chosen annually by the Foreign Policy Association. (fpa.org)
