Join us for a powerful 24-hour journey of reflection, solidarity, and action. On April 4th and 5th, the International Peace Museum and Hall Hunger Initiative invite you to fast for food and peace alongside Ambassador Tony Hall.

What it is about
Fasting for Food and Peace is a 24-hour community event led by Ambassador Tony Hall to raise awareness about hunger, justice, and global conflict. The event begins on April 4th with a discussion on critical issues, including blood diamonds, Ukraine, and Hall’s personal 22-day fast. The evening will feature a performance by the World House Choir and the announcement of the Miami Valley Peace Maker Prize. The fast will conclude on April 5th with a communal meal, reflections on peace, and performances by the University of Dayton Jazz Ensemble and Olohana’s Polynesian Dance Troupe.
