What it is about
This month, we’ll discuss Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer (2014 Holbrooke Award, Nonfiction Winner, 408 pages). The author blends her knowledge as a botanist and an Indigenous storyteller to reflect on humanity’s relationship with nature.
